Sustainable Total Electrical Protection (STEP)
STEP is based on a single robust module the size of an adult fist. Sealed inside a solid metal housing is a large distribution grade MOV. Dynamic pressure ensures that when it switches on to protect the downstream system from unwanted voltage conditions, there is an even distribution of energy across the MOV surface. The amount of energy that the STEP modules can absorb without degradation is unmatched.
Installed in the most demanding conditions around the world, tested independently in labs around the world, this product has proven itself. It has even passed the most severe lightning test in the industry (IEC61643, 100,000 Amps, 10 x 350 μs).
