Socomec Group acquired 3 North American companies less than ten years after opening its first United States subsidiary in 2009, Socomec Inc.
To enhance its product offer, Socomec Group strategically extended its portfolio by attaining North American based manufacturing centers of excellence and growing by acquiring exceptional companies such as Boltswitch, Continental Control Systems, and Powersmiths.
From these acquisitions, Socomec North America can offer our partners and customers a wide range of robust UL and CSA-listed solutions. In addition, Socomec is proud to have innovative capabilities to adapt our product to the many emerging markets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Socomec, Inc. is headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts, where the Finance, Sales, Technical, Customer Service, and Marketing departments are housed. The North American logistical operations are based in Peabody, Massachusetts, where Socomec’s UL and CSA products are managed and distributed.

CCS designs and manufactures metering devices, current transformers and custom energy measurement solutions, suitable for use in commercial, industrial and residential applications.
