Powersmiths recently hosted its inaugural Quality Days event, a two-day celebration dedicated to exploring the meaning of quality, its importance to our organization and customers, and the role each team member plays in maintaining excellence every day.
The Pursuit of Excellence
As a proud member of the Socomec Group, Powersmiths is deeply committed to upholding the highest quality standards in everything we do. In celebration of World Quality Day, we hosted our inaugural Quality Days event at our Brampton facility on November 13th and 14th.
The event began with inspiring speeches from our CEO and senior management team, who shared insights into our unwavering commitment to quality. We also showcased videos from across the Socomec organization, emphasizing the global significance of quality and what it represents to us as a company.
Interactive Learning and Collaboration
Following the presentations, participants could explore interactive booths led by team members from various departments within Powersmiths. The topics discussed included:
- Enhancing the PDU/STS assembly process through the use of PCBA interconnect board technology
- Improving inventory management with a multi-department Single Source of Truth system
- Boosting production efficiency by adopting tools such as hydraulic shears and shadow boards
These sessions allowed everyone, from senior management to floor workers, to engage in meaningful conversations about how Powersmiths ensures the highest quality across all facets of production.
